Rope ladders are made from 16mm diameter (2" circumference) 4 strand natural hemp with oval wood rungs fitted between the strands and bound and whipped.
 
The top of the ropes can be finished with either a 4" spliced eye (for Cave climbing frame or rope frame top tubes or with a thimble (for fitting to Niels Larsen top tubes, steel rope frames and rope tracks with 2 D shackles). The oval rungs provide excellent grip and the method of construction (as opposed to passing the rope through the rungs and pinning to the rope) minimises rope wear and fraying. Prices are for a 12 rung 12' rope but any length can be made.
 
Available with:
  • With spliced eye/thimble for fitting to rope trackways or to D shackles (most common)
  • With 4" spliced eye for fitting to Cave top tube
